Contact our editors about a character or correction
The editorial contact channel accepts reproducible reports about character data, explanations, accessibility, links, and browser-tool results. Short, precise reports are easier to verify and correct.
What this page covers
Name the exact page
A full URL lets the desk reproduce the same record or guide.
Preserve the text
Send the untouched harmless sequence instead of retyping a lookalike.
Describe the environment
Browser, operating system, application, and font details help isolate rendering issues.
Report a character or content issue
Email [email protected]. Include the affected page, the untouched symbol or U+ identifier, your intended outcome, and the result on screen. For a rendering problem, name the operating system, browser or application, and font when known.
Send a reproducible correction
- Copy the full URL rather than only the page title.
- Paste the original sequence without retyping or simplifying it.
- Describe whether the concern involves data, wording, accessibility, culture, security, or visual rendering.
- Link a primary technical source when the correction depends on a standard.
What the editorial desk can address
Reports about names, code points, encodings, broken links, inaccurate explanations, missing alternative text, and unexpected tool output are in scope. Review the verification workflow when assembling evidence or the publication policy for correction standards. The desk cannot control how an outside platform draws a glyph, but a clear reproduction can support a compatibility note for other readers.
Protect private information
Do not email passwords, account-recovery material, private documents, personal identifiers, or confidential text specimens. The browser utilities are designed to analyze text locally; use a harmless minimal example when requesting help. Privacy-specific questions may instead go to [email protected], with handling details in the privacy policy.
