How to choose astrology & celestial

Name the intended system when ambiguity matters. A planetary sign in a chart is not automatically an astronomical recommendation or factual claim.

Astronomical and astrological notation overlap historically, but the same sign can have different meanings in different disciplines.

Rendering and compatibility

Classical planet and zodiac symbols have strong coverage. Alchemical and newer astronomical additions may require specialist fonts.

Unicode defines character identity, while fonts and platforms draw the result. A different shape does not automatically mean a different character; an empty box usually means missing font coverage.
