The editorial policy behind every reference page
The editorial policy requires each indexable page to answer a real Unicode need with original value, visible evidence, and a correction path.
What this page covers
People choose the topic
Pages begin with a useful question or working tool, not a list of search phrases.
Sources match the claim
Technical facts start with standards; interpretation uses the right subject source.
Updates must be real
Review dates change only after the content or its evidence receives meaningful attention.
People-first publishing purpose
An indexable page must provide a working collection, a distinct reference record, a functional diagnostic, or an original answer to a real Unicode question. The site does not create location clones, app-name swaps, synonym pages, or unrelated articles merely because a phrase may attract searches.
Evidence and attribution
Technical assertions begin with standards bodies whenever a primary source exists. The public source register identifies the recurring normative references. Editorial grouping and practical recommendations are labeled through context rather than presented as Unicode rules. Article pages identify the publishing desk, publication date, review date, citations, and correction route. Character pages distinguish formal database properties from interpretation.
Automation and generative systems
Automated tools may help organize research, draft code, check internal consistency, or create original supporting imagery. They do not transfer accountability. Before publication, content must stay inside the site's subject, make a non-duplicative contribution, avoid unsupported certainty, and connect to a useful collection or tool.
Search-integrity safeguards
Internal search pages are noindexed. Hidden keywords, cloaked crawler copy, scraped descriptions, doorway networks, paid-link manipulation, and third-party sections designed to borrow the domain's reputation are outside the publication model. If sponsorship is introduced later, it must be disclosed and qualified with the appropriate link relationship.
Corrections and material updates
Factual errors are corrected at the stable URL so references do not break. A review timestamp is updated only when the visible material or its supporting evidence receives meaningful attention. Readers can submit evidence through contact; data boundaries and validation procedures are documented in methodology, and the site's remit is set out on the about page.
